Overview
Location: Luxor – Aswan – Cairo
Duration: 8 Days – 7 Nights
Embark on an unforgettable journey through Egypt’s rich history and culture. This 8-day adventure will take you to the iconic cities of Cairo, Luxor and Aswan, where you’ll explore ancient wonders, experience the magic of the Nile River and immerse yourself in the beauty of this captivating country.

Itinerary
Day 01: Welcome to Luxor – Nile Cruise
Arrival at Luxor International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will be waiting to escort you to board your 5-star luxury Nile cruise for embarkation.
Enjoy lunch on board, your private tour guide will accompany you during your visit to the impressive Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple.
After the tour you will be transferred back to the Nile cruise, relax and enjoy dinner on board.
Overnight on board.
Day 02: Luxor – Nile Cruise Excursions
Following breakfast on board, cross over to the west bank of the Nile to explore the Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs of Tutankhamoun and Ramses VI were discovered, those tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs. Continue to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut which was built by the architects of the New Kingdom Pharoah Hatshepsut approximately in the 15th century BC,
before returning to the ship for lunch.
Relax on board, taking in the breath-taking views from the sundeck as you continue down the Nile towards Esna on your way to Edfu.
Enjoy dinner on board and overnight.
Day 3: Edfu and Komombo Temples
Following breakfast on board, visit the well-preserved Ptolemaic Temple dedicated to Horus
at Edfu. After lunch on board, sail to Kom Ombo to see the unique Temple of Sobek, dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god, and Horus the falcon-headed god.
After the tour, you will be transferred back to the Nile cruise to continue sailing to Aswan.
Dinner on board and overnight.
Day 04: Aswan – Nile Cruise Tours
Following breakfast on board, enjoy a day’s sightseeing in Aswan, the Nubian city. Start with the High Dam and the largest known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the Unfinished Obelisk, then on to the beautiful Temple of Philae, which is devoted to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor.

Day 5: Cairo – Arrival
Following breakfast onboard, disembark from your Nile cruise. At Sunrise, if you wish not to miss the chance of this memorable Optional tour to Abu Simbel, Our Representative will pick you up from your cruise by a private airconditioned vehicle (takes about 3.5 hours) to enjoy Abu Simbel area with its main attraction ‘’The great sun temple of Ramses II and the temples of Queen Nefertari’’.
After finishing your trip, you will be escorted to Aswan Airport for your return to Cairo where you will be met and assisted at the airport, then escorted to your hotel in Cairo.
At the hotel, our representative will assist you with a smooth check-in and review your holiday itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times.
The rest of the day will be spent at your leisure.

Day 6: Cairo – Pyramids of Giza and Sakkara
Breakfast at your hotel, then your private tour guide will accompany you to visit the pyramid area of Memphis, Egypt’s first capital. Explore the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure in Sakkara, which was built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC).
Proceed to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world – The Great Pyramid of Khufu. You will continue to explore the rest of Giza plateau including the sight of Khafre’s (Khufu’s son) Pyramid, the second largest pyramid on Giza site, Menkaure’s Pyramid, the smallest and their guardian the famous Sphinx, one of the world’s oldest and largest monument.
Optional Lunch will be served at a 5 star restaurant overlooking the Pyramids of Giza or at a local restaurant.
Papyrus Institute, pay a visit to some souvenir and perfume Shops.
Transfer back to the hotel.
Evening: Optional Dinner
Sooth your night with dinner on a 5-star luxurious Nile Cruise restaurant and admire the lights of Cairo while enjoying an open buffet dinner with a belly dancer and Egyptian folklore show cruising for 2 hours in the River Nile.
Day 7: Cairo Sightseeing
Breakfast at the hotel, then your personal tour guide will take you to visit the treasures of the Egyptian Museum known for its invaluable antiques from the pharaonic period.
The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 overwhelming artefacts are presented among which, are the world-famous Tutankhamen collection.
Optional Lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo or at a 5 star restaurant overlooking the Nile.
Continue to visit the Citadel of Salah Al Din, Mohamed Ali’s mosque and the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar located in the heart of Islamic Cairo. This busy and colourful open air bazaar is filled with exotic items from souvenirs and jewellery to perfumes and spices. End your trip by walking along El Moez Street, admiring the Islamic architecture of Historic Cairo.
Transfer back to the hotel and overnight.
Day 8: Fly back home
Breakfast at the hotel with free time at your leisure, then you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.
